"DUPONT-HISSEL" defends Antwerp in the case of the rules on "Home-Grown Players”

The Court of First Instance in Brussels has just referred questions to the CJEU for a preliminary ruling.

With these questions, the Belgian court is asking the European Court of Justice to rule on the following issue: do the rules of UEFA and its 55 member federations, including the Belgian federation, which require football clubs to hire and field a certain number of players who were trained between the ages of 15 and 21 "locally", violate the right to free movement of workers and free competition?
